Wow! What a diamond in the rough! Ralph was so great at finding exactly what I needed after I had 2 contractors give me a much higher price. He also has a ton of inventory although when you drive up the front of the shop seems small... it has a huge warehouse behind it with so many choices plus I saved so much money buying wholesale rather than the retail prices I kept getting quotes by my contractor. A+!

Had a very good experience buying our hardwood floor from Coastal Wood Flooring. Great selection of floors. Ralph was very knowledgeable and patient, he explained all the pros and cons of different products, guided us to make a great choice for our house and gave us a great price. Probably one of the only honest and helpful suppliers I've been at. I had my entire house redone with new hardwood that I picked out from Coastal and the owner couldn't have been more helpful. I was and still am surprised at how his profit wasn't the main goal and actually talked us down instead of up. You really don't need this, here is a similar but cheaper option. It was great. I am having my bathroom remodeled and the contractor requested a t-molding for where the new tile meets the hardwood floor. I went back to Coastal, 2 years later, and instead of just selling me the molding, he not only showed me a option that was a third of the cost, faster to do, and just as good, in the end I walked out of there not buying anything with even a better option to solve the problem. He actually lost a sale for the sake of doing what's right for the customer. You can't put a price on that type of service. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Living in a Vintage home built in the 30's can be a challenge if you need to make a repair to existing materials, hardwood flooring repair finding same tongue & groove flooring was impossible with all the pre-fab flooring now used. Desperate to patch in a area in need of replacement, call to Coastal Flooring & Supplies & helpful employee informed me they have exact vintage oak flooring we needed, within an hour picked up materials and now our bay window alcove floor suffering water damage will be renewed, even had same stain color that was from many, many years ago! Looking around the warehouse they are well stocked with quality materials and supplies so look no further for quality flooring needs.

If you're starting a hardwood flooring project, look no further! Coastal Wood Flooring has been so helpful and friendly during our process. They hooked us up with an amazing installer, and have helped us understand the pricing and options we have based on our very strict HOA guidelines. Their selection was the best by far, especially if you are looking for affordable but modern options. We found a wide-plank lighter wood that feels really beachy and perfect for our Santa Monica condo. Love this place!

If you are looking for the best prices, many choices and fast delivery, this is the place you want to visit. I came to Coastal Wood Flooring lost and confused, I really, didn't know what I wanted. Ralph took his time and explained the pro and cons of each material. He is an expert, he was even able to visualize my space and help me make a decision. I was able to get amazing floor at a very good price. I love the way it came out, my place looks totally different now. Thank you !!!

All you are doing is delaying getting the absolute BEST services at here. from the salesperson , to the state-of-the-art installers , I can only say I would not hesitate for a moment using this Vendor on any one of my milion dollar projects. Their prices are more than reasonable. Seriously folks, No regrets. They are FANTASTIC professionals.

My parents bought a new house and needed new wooden floors. I helped them choose it. Ralph was the guy helping us and he really knows his wood! We got a history lesson on how different types of floors evolved over time and the pros and cons of different wood types. They must have hundreds of samples in the showroom and worked with us on price, so we got a good deal. Would definitely recommend this place.

Coastal Wood Flooring is THE place to go here in LA for wood flooring. Ralph expertly guided me and my mom as we went through the huge number of beautiful samples. He has a deep understanding of all the different woods and their properties. That understanding saved me from some unfortunate choices with certain woods that are photo sensitive. All of the samples he has in the showroom are stunning--so much better than other showrooms I visited. But what blew me away was seeing how much more beautiful the ENTIRE floor looks than just a sample, once it was installed. Ralph is very easy to reach on the phone. When I noticed the final invoice was at a slightly higher rate than he had first quoted, he instantly apologized for the mistake and mailed me a check for the difference. Recommended highly!

My wife and I spent weeks looking for a reliable floor resource. When a friend recommended Coastal, we decided to check it out. Consistent with our friends recommendation, we were not disappointed as their selection was bigger than other place in the San Fernando Valley. The main difference between them and their competition is not only the price, but you are treated as a friend and not just someone they will make money off of. We are extremely happy with the results and would not hesitate to use them again.

I was looking to change my floors over to wood from carpet & they just happen to pop up on Groupon with a great deal. In going in & talking with them, my experience could not have been better. The owner was very friendly & helpful & they had a big selection of all types of wood flooring. He was great & even gave me free delivery to my house of the equipment. Would definately recommend them to my friends. Honest, straight & friendly.
